Handling feels tight but the AI often bunches up in crashes. The squad based system was ahead of its time for 2005 racing games. Voice commands add a layer of chaos as you shout orders between crashes. Online play is limited but the split screen works well for local co op. Real time team management adds depth beyond pure driving skills. The physics model handles turns sharply but acceleration feels a bit sluggish compared to later entries in the series.
