Natsuzora no Monologue is a visual novel set in a quiet coastal town where a mysterious tower disrupts daily life. You play as Ogawa Aoi, a student dealing with her school's science club shutting down. On the day of the closure, your club visits the abandoned "Tree", a structure that appeared decades earlier and now begins emitting strange phenomena. Choices you make during this pivotal day trigger a time loop, forcing you to relive July 29th repeatedly. Each run reveals new dialogue options and paths, with your decisions shaping relationships and uncovering the tower's secrets. The game mixes slice-of-life moments with sci-fi mystery, balancing character-driven stories against the urgency of a repeating timeline. The Tree's eerie presence and the club members' backstories add depth, while the loop mechanic encourages careful decision-making. Though originally released in 2010, it remains available on modern mobile platforms, letting players revisit its blend of small-town charm and cosmic oddity. Fans of narrative-driven games with branching outcomes may find the 12-hour runtime and multiple endings offer enough variety to justify repeated plays.
In a small town near the sea called Tokijima the protagonist Ogawa Aoi lives life as she always has. In the middle of that normal town scenery is a great tower called the 'Tree'. It suddenly appeared thirty years ago and excited the whole country, but now it is just a deserted tourist spot. One day, it is decided that the science club Aoi belongs to is going to be closed. On July 29th, the day before the closure of the science club, all the members go to visit the 'Tree' together. On that day, at that time, at that moment-- 'Tree' starts to sing. And on July 29th, a loop starts.
