You play as Misha, a security contractor in a crumbling 2036 Tokyo. The city is a dangerous wasteland overrun by supernatural creatures called Youkai. The game pits you against these monsters in fast paced combat that mixes tense shooting with skill based fighting game mechanics. Each encounter demands precision and timing as you balance cover-based gunplay with close quarters melee strikes and special moves. The haunted ruins of Shin-Chiba make for a constantly shifting battlefield filled with eerie sights and unpredictable threats. What sets Nightmare Operator apart is its refusal to let up. Storyline

The year is 2036. Humanity has declined. Misha is a Public Safety Operator: a contractor for the Provisional Government tasked with hunting Youkai, and protecting the Quarantine City of Shin-Chiba. Within the haunted ruins of Tokyo, she unearths a mystery that could unmake what remains of civilization.
