Nightwatch: Nightmare Creatures is a two-player co-op simulator that throws you into a messed-up scenario where fixing broken tech and dodging unhinged people are your main tasks. You and a partner work to repair equipment while avoiding victims of a corrupt company’s messed-up experiments. The tension comes from managing repairs under pressure and steering clear of threats that escalate as you go. What sticks out is the tight focus on teamwork and survival under weird circumstances. While it doesn’t break much new ground, the claustrophobic co-op design and creepy atmosphere keep it engaging. Released on PC and Linux in late 2023, it’s a brief but punchy experience for those looking to stress over machinery and monsters at the same time.
