Nihilist is a DOS shooter where you battle enemies in 25 levels across horizontal, vertical, and spherical arenas. Each duel pits you against one opponent while other ships and asteroids add chaos. Asteroids split on impact or drop power-ups like armor boosts. Every match requires credits forcing you to collect cash symbols during fights to afford upgrades for weapons and armor. The game supports single and multiplayer modes. The soundtrack includes 17 tracks from 90s acts like Dog Eat Dog and Sugar Ray. Players can swap it out for their own CD. While it hasn't aged well graphically it's a relic of early competitive gaming. Released in late 1996 it's a niche title for those into retro shooters.
The player controls a spaceship which has to beat deathmatches in an arena called Kraal. The gameplay is a mix between the classic games Beamrider and Star Wars.
