ur Nimrods is a roguelite shooter where you play as a gun-testing mercenary scavenging alien worlds. Each run tasks you with surviving waves of enemies while collecting weapon blueprints and parts. You combine these to craft increasingly absurd firearms that become your legacy. Progress isn't measured in kills or loot but in the creativity of your gun designs. The challenge comes from balancing survival with experimentation, as permadeath resets your gear but keeps your unlocked creations. The game shines in its weapon customization system. Every part you gather shifts how you approach combat, letting you build guns that fire lasers, explode on impact, or chain attacks. Procedural maps and enemy placements keep each session fresh, though the difficulty spikes can feel abrupt. With no prior release data to reference, it's a gamble on execution, but the core loop of die-and-learn feels satisfying for fans of inventive shooter mechanics.
