About

You play as Jason trapped in a temple where flying enemies called Furies patrol above. Your weapon is a steady supply of stones that trigger magical bricks to drop from the ceiling. Hitting a Fury with a falling brick destroys it but throwing stones directly at them causes them to multiply. Each hit from the Furies costs a life while accidentally dropping a brick on yourself has the same result. The goal is to clear all enemies to advance through increasingly chaotic levels. Your reflexes and aim get tested as the action speeds up and the Furies become more aggressive. The game’s sharp mechanics and punishing difficulty make it memorable. Every throw requires calculating the risk of hitting an enemy versus avoiding self-inflicted damage. With single and multiplayer modes it offers a test of precision and timing that feels surprisingly modern for 1983. The Atari 2600 hardware limitations add to the tension as the screen gets more crowded. Players who enjoy tight arcade action with a steep learning curve still cite it as one of the system’s most challenging outings.
