Players can toggle between the classic MIDI soundtrack or a modern remix by Andrew Hulshult. The game supports community published mods for custom levels and tweaks, and runs across PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and next gen systems. The remaster adds multithreaded rendering for smoother frame rates and BOOM source compatibility to expand level design possibilities. Eight new language translations and accessibility options make it more approachable. With mod support and updated technical features, it bridges old school charm with modern polish. Available since August 8 2024, it targets both longtime fans and new players.
