Numbra is a tense, first-person puzzle adventure where you guide a young girl through a crumbling, shadow-heavy world. The environment shifts as light and darkness battle, and you must keep her alert to avoid predatory creatures that hunt in the dark. Every action depletes her awareness, forcing you to balance exploration with survival. You solve environmental puzzles to open paths, but the clock is always ticking, let her lapse even once and the danger resets. The game’s strength lies in its relentless pressure. The "stay awake" mechanic turns every decision into a risk-reward calculation, blending platforming and puzzle-solving with a constant threat of failure. While the world is sparse, the oppressive atmosphere and tight design make each moment feel urgent. Developed by DigiPen Europe-Bilbao students, it showcases strong technical polish for an indie title. Early builds suggest a 75% completion rate among testers, highlighting its difficulty without feeling unfair.
