Nuvoid puts you in control of a hacked drone in a universe where humans vanished centuries ago but the war keeps going. You build your own ship from scratch, designing both the look and the controls to fit how you want to fly. The world is a free roaming space filled with massive asteroids, abandoned stations, and enemy drones that you can fight or avoid. While missions and quests drive a story forward, the game lets you ignore those tasks and just explore whatever catches your eye at any moment. The procedural generation means no two sessions feel exactly the same as you upgrade parts and tackle new challenges. Since the title is still in development, the demo offers a solid look at the core building mechanics and flight physics before the full story arrives. Players on Steam Greenlight have already shown interest by voting for the project to join the platform. This approach gives developers room to refine systems while letting you test the sandbox elements early without waiting for a finished product.
Even with the extinction of the human race over 200 years ago, war rages on in the universe like nothing has changed. Long-abandoned factories remain operational, constructing fighter drones to continue the never ending war effort. Take control over a hacked drone, and immerse yourself in the chaotic, war-torn universe.
