Ochakumi casts you as Ooe Rumiko a disinterested office worker using a rolling chair to zip through cubicles and dodge coworkers. Your mission in each of eight office levels is simple: find a treat like ice cream or cake then track down tea ingredients to complete the level. You control movement by pushing off walls with legs and using the space bar to rebound off surfaces. Running into coworkers costs a life so timing and route planning matter. The controls emphasize momentum and spacing making each room a mini obstacle course. The game’s charm lies in its deadpan humor and retro arcade simplicity. Released in 2003 by Tsumiru Studio it balances repetitive office drudgery with slapstick chaos as you bounce between filing cabinets and photocopiers. While the core loop is brief the challenge of avoiding bosses and collecting items adds replay value. Players appreciate the tactile physics and the absurdity of turning mundane office spaces into playgrounds.
First you will have to find a bit of Ice Cream or Cake in the area. And well the perfect thing to wash down such a rich snack is a little tea. You will have to get to the tea ingredients after which the tea itself will appear in the office. Once you down the tea the level is over. However your co-workers and bosses want to see you being productive (What Rubbish!) If they run into you Ooe will lose one of three lives. Seeing as you are in your chair pushing the up arrow key will cause you to move in which ever way your back is facing via the pushing actions of your legs. When facing a wall you may press the space bar to quickly launch yourself backward, if you hit anyone they will be momentarily stunned.
