About

Ocolast: Origens de Paulo Guina is a first-person adventure game that drops you into a crumbling prison as Jailson Mendes, a journalist chasing a story. Your goal is to survive while evading Paulo Guina, a violent prisoner who infects others with a mysterious pathogen. The camera is your key tool, use it to peer through darkness and document clues. You’ll scramble between cells to avoid detection, searching for exits while the infected close in. Sparse dialogue and environmental storytelling push the narrative forward, blending exploration with tense hide-and-seek mechanics. The game thrives on claustrophobic atmosphere and sudden scares, relying on limited resources to keep you on edge. Its low-poly visuals and minimal text lean into a DIY aesthetic that feels intentionally rough around the edges. Though short, most sessions wrap in under two hours, it packs a punch with its relentless pacing. Small indie communities still reference its abrupt horror moments and quirky character design. The camera mechanic in particular stands out, forcing you to balance risk and curiosity in every move.

You have been sent to a prison to investigate Paulo Guina, an inmate suspected of leaving the OCO on several victims. During your stay, Paulo Guina escapes from his cell and spreads the Delicia on everyone, leaving you alone with him. Use your camera to see in the dark and record everything. Use the prison cells to hide from Guina and find a way out of there.
