In One Chance you play a scientist whose experiment spiraled out of control. A deadly pathogen is erasing all life and you have six days to decide how to use your final hours. Every action matters because there's no saving your choices. The game unfolds through quick decisions that shape your character's last moments. Simple click-based controls let you focus on the moral dilemmas and small moments of humanity as the world collapses. The game’s strict one-time playthrough forces you to live with your choices. Players often revisit it just to see alternate outcomes but can never repeat the same path. Despite its 2010 release it still holds up for its tight narrative and emotional weight. The browser format makes it easy to jump in but the ending lingers long after you close the tab.
