One Creek: The House is a cozy RPG about sibling antics and spooky surprises. You play as members of the Larsen family stuck indoors during a rainstorm, passing time in the basement with video games and inventing gadgets for outdoor adventures. The mood shifts when the youngest kid claims to see a ghost, prompting older siblings to stage a prank that spirals into supernatural chaos. Gameplay blends light exploration, creative tool-building, and dialogue-driven moments as the family navigates their mix of humor and fear. The game stands out for its warm yet eerie atmosphere and tight character dynamics. Developer Viktor the Great crafts a lighthearted yet oddly tense experience, balancing everyday sibling banter with sudden jumpscares and oddball ghost lore. With a runtime under five hours, it’s a brisk but memorable blend of humor and mystery that fans of small-scale RPGs might appreciate. The Larsen kids feel real, and the house itself becomes a character, shifting from cheerful haven to unsettling hub as the storm rages on.
In this game, you meet the kids of the Larsen family as they spend their Saturday afternoon at home alone during a rainstorm. Unable to play outside like they usually would, they bum around in the basement together playing video games and designing new types of tools they can use once they get to go back out into the woods. However, after the youngest sibling, Jeeson, claims he saw a ghost in his bedroom, the eldest devise a plan to prank him. Of course, chaos ensues.
