One Monster RPG: Running out of slime

You’re one kill away from max level. The problem? The last enemy in the world is too weak to give enough EXP. Instead of fighting smart you fight backwards. Lure the monster into eating everything it can to make it a worthy final boss. Each upgrade makes it tougher and more rewarding when you eventually take it down. It’s a bite-sized RPG loop with a darkly comedic twist on grind gameplay. Made for a 2019 game jam and later polished this PC-only indie leans into its silly premise. The reversed progression mechanic is a fresh spin on classic RPGs though the short runtime means it’s more of a clever idea than a deep experience. Lightweight but memorable it’s a quick laugh for fans of experimental design.
