One Way Heroics is a roguelike RPG where you sprint rightward against encroaching darkness that starts from the left. Each move you make, fighting enemies, looting, or chatting with NPCs, pushes the void closer. Your goal is to reach the Demon Lord before the screen swallows you. The twist is multiversal travel: pick a dimension by name, and the game builds a world based on that word. A "forest" dimension might have trees and thieves. A "corrupted" one could brim with demons. You can revisit old worlds by typing their names or invent new ones on the spot. The game’s charm lies in its chaotic creativity. Procedural generation ensures no two runs feel alike, and player-made dimensions add unpredictable flavor. Community-created worlds range from absurd to clever, like "toothbrush" or "ancientlibrary." With no save points and permanent death, every decision carries weight. The minimalist art style and retro soundtrack keep the focus on the frantic, forward-only gameplay. Short sessions and high replayability make it a cult favorite among roguelike fans.
