Operius is a fast-paced shooter built for quick bursts of action. You navigate endless waves of enemies in top-down levels, mixing precise shooting with rapid movement to survive as long as possible. The single-player mode focuses on high-score chasing while co-op and multiplayer let you team up or compete against others. Simple controls and tight mechanics make it easy to jump in but tough to master. Created for the Opera GX Game Jam, this title took first place with its energetic design and synth-heavy soundtrack by Catonator. Though short on story, it thrives on replayability and competitive leaderboards. Available directly in Opera GX’s offline hub, it’s a browser-based blast that keeps things simple and chaotic.
