Oprost is a precision platformer where you navigate a crumbling forest as Arik, a druid using animal souls to move. Instead of standard jumps, you summon the abilities of fallen creatures to dash, glide, and leap over treacherous terrain. The world feels alive with rotting vegetation and shifting obstacles, all while a monstrous tangle of roots stalks the edges. Each level requires careful timing and creative use of your shifting powers. What sets it apart is its quiet emotional core. Arik’s grief over losing his wife drives both his actions and the figuring out environment. The decaying forest mirrors his internal struggle, with environments that feel less like puzzles and more like testaments to loss. While the platforming challenges are tight, it’s the subtle storytelling through setting and motion that lingers. No flashy set pieces, just a druid’s steady march through a world turning against him.

Storyline

For hundreds of years, circles of druids have been tasked with leading the spirits of the dead to the spiritual world. Suddenly, 40 days after the death of a powerful druid, Elara, a mysterious beast of roots and dirt appeared. The beast seemingly aimed to destroy the forest and its inhabitants. Elara's husband, another powerful druid, Arik, is the only one who can, together with the forest creatures, stop the beast and put all souls to rest. Oprost is a journey of grief through a precision platformer that uses power of animal moves instead of classic jumping. Help Arik, a druid who recently lost his wife, in battling his grief as well as the beast of thorns and weeds who is destroying his forest.
