Orange Cast is an action RPG where you navigate a galaxy in turmoil. Play as a peacekeeper tasked with containing chaos after an energy crisis shattered colonies. Each planet you visit has its own distinct vibe and history and you'll explore these worlds while battling threats that lurk in the shadows. Combat mixes third person shooting with RPG progression letting you upgrade gear and skills to survive increasingly dangerous missions. The game stands out for its atmospheric settings and the central mystery of a hidden enemy manipulating events. Developed by Team Rez and published by Valkyrie Initiative it launched in 2021 with a focus on single player storytelling. While player feedback is mixed the sci fi conflict and planet hopping exploration offer a solid blend of action and narrative for those into gritty space adventures.

Storyline

Energy crisis began in the game universe (5 years before the events of the game).. The crisis led to the collapse of a huge number of colonies. In order to stabilize the situation in the galaxy, mankind creates peacekeeping organizations. The goals of such organizations are to restrain the ambitions of corporations and aggressive groups in places where the armed forces are not able to be present at this time.
