The island itself feels like the real protagonist, shifting around Orbo as he uncovers hidden structures and erratic weather patterns. The hats return as both cosmetic and functional tools, unlocking shortcuts or altering how obstacles are tackled. While the story leans on familiar island-stranded-till-you-wreck-it tropes, the brisk level design and escalating absurdity of the environments keep it from feeling formulaic.
