Osher Bli Gvulot is a point-and-click adventure game where you follow Osher, a 30-year-old Israeli man accidentally deported from Miami and thrust into a chaotic political campaign. Developed by two creators, it leans into absurdist humor as Osher navigates social security debt, celebrity encounters, and left-wing activists while chasing the prime ministership. The gameplay mixes dialogue choices, inventory puzzles, and dry wit, all set to a soundtrack of 2 hours of original music. It runs on PC, Mac, and Linux without installation, and the entire experience clocks in at around 10 hours. The game’s charm lies in its sharp satire of bureaucracy and politics, paired with a protagonist who’s equal parts bumbling and determined. Though it launched in 2007 as Israel’s first major AGS adventure, its humor and accessibility have kept it relevant among fans of narrative-driven games. Free to play and unapologetically niche, it’s a briskly paced story about power, absurdity, and one man’s misguided quest to fix red tape by climbing the ladder of government.
Osher Bli Gvulot (Happiness Without Borders) is the story of Osher, a thirty-year-old Israeli who lives in Miami, and works for his uncle in a start-up of easy chairs. After getting entangled with the local authorities he is deported back to Israel, and here he discovers an astronomical debt to Social Security resulting from a bureaucratic mistake. After failing to undo the evil of the decree, Osher decides to run for prime minister - because that's the only way to show Social Security who the boss is. But the road to the high chair is full of obstacles, celebrities, beautiful leftists, and formidable Social Security officials.
