Othello is a strategy game where players take turns placing discs on a grid to capture their opponent's pieces. Each move must sandwich existing discs between two of your own, flipping them to your color. The goal is to end the game with more discs of your color on the board. You can play against a friend or the AI. Turns are timed, adding pressure to think fast. The rules are easy to grasp but mastering the tactics takes practice. Released in 1981 for the Atari 2600, this version brought the classic board game to living rooms during the early days of home consoles. Despite simple graphics, the gameplay remains sharp and competitive. Community archives note it as one of the system's more thoughtful titles. Over 40 years later, it's still a quick test of logic and foresight.
