Otherland is a PC-based action RPG with multiplayer elements that lets you jump between wildly different worlds. You can battle enemy forces in a medieval setting navigate alien landscapes or hang out in a futuristic mall. The game uses Unreal Engine to create detailed environments and action-focused combat. Each area offers its own challenges and story threads to follow. The game's biggest draw is its variety. It throws together fantasy battles sci-fi exploration and casual social spots all in one universe. While it hasn't dominated the charts it has a small group of players who enjoy its ambitious mix of genres. Released in 2016 it still runs on modern systems and has ongoing community updates. The different settings keep things fresh even after long play sessions.
