About

Ouji-sama Lv1 follows Canaan, a second prince with no formal training, as he joins an adventuring party to investigate a sealed labyrinth. Players alternate between visual novel scenes and turn-based combat, balancing story choices with RPG mechanics like gear upgrades and skill builds. The narrative leans into tropes of underdog heroism, with Canaan's lack of aristocratic polish shaping his interactions with allies and enemies. Developed by Alicesoft, known for adult-oriented games, this title stands out as one of their rare non-18+ releases. A later addition disc introduces optional yaoi content, splitting the base game's focus. Fans of early 2000s Japanese RPG hybrids might appreciate the straightforward plot and dated charm, though modern systems may struggle with its 20-year-old design.
