Simple joystick controls let you toggle between forward motion and downward descent. Survive the crash landing, then fuel up for the return trip to orbit. Helicopter Rescue! swaps the void of space for a collapsing hotel rooftop. You guide a rescue chopper through tight maneuvers, snatching civilians from danger while avoiding obstacles. Each round lasts 120 seconds, and every second counts as you juggle landing, picking up, and depositing survivors. Both titles showcase the Odyssey 2’s knack for tight, physical controls. Out of This World! adds a satisfying layer of momentum to its lander physics, while Helicopter Rescue! demands split-second timing. The dual-game setup was clever for 1980s cartridge pricing. Neither game breaks new ground but both play with the precision and charm that made early arcade ports memorable.
