You play Mako, a delivery worker in a surreal world of floating islands and capricious gods. Your job is simple: collect oddball items, package them at workbenches, and drop them off at clients’ doors. Combat leans on physics-based brawling, leap on foes, fling goo to immobilize them, and keep moving. The top-down perspective lets you focus on platforming and quick reflexes as you bounce between destinations. Each run feels like a mini mission, blending exploration with slapstick action. The game’s charm lies in its dry humor and escalating weirdness. The Bumon Corporation’s vague promises and Mako’s existential plight add a layer of absurdist storytelling. Developer Asamado Games tightens the loop with consistent pacing and quirky world design. With a June 2025 release on PC, it’s shaping up as a brisk, bite-sized indie that leans into its oddball premise without overcomplicating things. The delivery grind here isn’t a chore, it’s a gateway to a world where every package hides a new joke or twist.
In accordance with a deal made with self-proclaimed "delivery service" and all-around mysterious entity known as Bumon, Mako has taken a job working as a lackey at the Bumon Delivery Corporation in "Mayoi" - the world of the gods. She was told that if she finishes up her assigned tasks and collects the stamps of approval for her various deliveries, then she'll be able to return to her own world, but... Get to work finding and collecting the various items requested in Mayoi. As soon as you've gathered the items, bring them to the workbench. Once you're finished packaging them, deliver them to the client. Rinse, repeat, and keep on going to see just how the story unfolds.
