Ozone Guardian is a fast paced arcade shooter where you pilot a spaceship to defend the ozone layer from waves of hostile craft. Each round throws increasingly aggressive enemies your way culminating in a tough boss battle every five stages. Your reflexes determine your score which you use to buy upgrades in the Space Shop. Options range from spread fire to homing missiles letting you tailor your ship's abilities. Progression hinges on your choices whether you invest small each round or save for big purchases affects how you tackle tougher challenges. The game stands out with randomized enemy behavior and bosses that test your dodging. The shop changes dynamically based on your earnings offering relevant upgrades. Multiple difficulty settings and a global leaderboard add replayability. With lots of ship customizations and unpredictable encounters it's easy to get hooked trying to beat your high score. Players on the leaderboard show it's a game that rewards persistence and strategy.
