Pac-Attack is a puzzle game that swaps maze-chomping for tile-matching. Players take turns placing colored tiles on a grid trying to create lines of three or more same-colored blocks. Each match clears the board and scores points while pushing the opponent’s tiles closer to the edge. The goal is to force the other player off the board before they do to you. Matches are fast and tense with a focus on quick thinking and blocking strategies. The single-player mode pits you against AI opponents that vary in difficulty from easy to challenging. This remake of the arcade original brings the competitive spirit of Pac-Man to puzzle battles without feeling like a carbon copy. Fans of classic Namco games appreciate its sharp mechanics and retro charm. While it lacks multiplayer from the PlayStation version it was ported from Pac-Attack still holds up as a tight and addictive challenge. Its simple rules hide deeper strategy making it easy to pick up but tough to master.
