"Pacific Drive is a mystery that draws you in little by little and rewards you for staying dedicated with both a better vehicle and more ridiculous threats. Every excursion left me wondering just what I’d discover, both from survival and story standpoints, as well as what kind of crazy threats were going to try to make my life harder. Fun and interesting characters and a pretty great soundtrack help to keep things fun, but maintaining the station wagon is easily the most compelling part. It’s your best friend through thick and thin, even if it’s trying to eat your mind. That can be somewhat forgiven since it makes up the core of an ultimately great rogue-lite survival game."

Pacific Fire is a turn-based strategy game focused on WWII Pacific Theater battles. Players direct military units across 16 campaigns spanning 1941 to 1945, choosing from Allied and Axis forces including US, Japanese, and British troops. The gameplay centers on managing air and naval units, with access to over 80 aircraft types and 50 warships. Each turn involves planning movements, allocating resources, and executing attacks based on historical events like Pearl Harbor and Iwo Jima. The mobile-friendly design keeps mechanics streamlined for touch controls while maintaining tactical depth. The game emphasizes historical detail without overwhelming newcomers. Community feedback highlights its lack of microtransactions and offline play as major pluses. While not as visually polished as modern AAA titles, the focus on accurate unit stats and campaign progression appeals to strategy fans. With a 4.3 rating on iOS after four years, it holds a steady audience among mobile wargamers seeking no-frills tactical challenges. The inclusion of lesser-known aircraft and ships adds niche appeal for history buffs.
