Pandemonium! is a platformer where you control either Fargus or Nikki as they race to restore a cursed town. Each character has a distinct ability: Fargus spins to attack obstacles while Nikki uses double jumps to reach tricky spots. Levels are packed with hazards and environmental puzzles involving floating clouds, swinging logs, and sticky webs. The core loop mixes precise jumping with timed attacks to progress through increasingly chaotic stages toward the Wishing Engine. The game stands out for its tight controls and creative level design. Released in 1996, it was one of the first PlayStation titles to showcase the system’s potential with colorful visuals and smooth animations for the time.
