Paper Boats is a calm, open-ended adventure game set by a quiet waterfront. Instead you follow your own rhythm exploring simple scenes and reading notes left by others. Messages arrive via paper boats drifting in from the water each carrying a personal thought or observation from a different player. The quiet focus on shared moments sets it apart. Every message is written by real people creating a subtle connection between strangers. Developer Harry Alisavakis launched it in 2021 for PC Mac and Linux. Players describe it as a meditative pause from busy games. The lack of structure lets you sit by the dock for as long as you want. Reading and writing notes becomes its own gentle activity.
