Paragon is a third-person MOBA from Epic Games where precise aiming and timing define your impact. Instead of top-down maps, you control your champion directly in 3D space, weaving through objectives and clashing in real time. Each match emphasizes individual skill over team coordination, letting you pick champions with unique kits and adapt strategies mid-game. The focus is on raw ability, positioning, attacks, and movement all matter. The game launched in 2016 with a free-to-play model but shut down permanently in April 2018. Developer support faded after a year, and the servers were eventually closed. Epic later made its assets available for free to Unreal Engine creators, giving the community a new purpose for the game’s visual style and mechanics. With no major updates or player base after 2018, Paragon remains a brief but ambitious experiment in reimagining MOBA controls.
