About

Paris Belle Epoque is a stealth-driven puzzle adventure set in a stylized 2.5D version of late 19th-century Paris. You play Anna, a chemist on the run after her experiment goes wrong and creates a lethal compound. Partnering with Spunky, a rat she once used for lab tests, you navigate crowded streets and shadowy alleys to avoid capture while piecing together clues about her formula’s origins. The game blends real-time evasion with point-and-click puzzles, requiring you to use the environment to stay hidden from officers and informants who turn against you at a moment’s notice. The game’s charm lies in its richly detailed setting and the odd-couple dynamic between Anna and Spunky. Paris itself feels alive with period-specific details, from bustling markets to dimly lit garrets, though the lack of combat keeps the tension focused on quick thinking over action. Early access reviews highlight its atmospheric puzzles and tight stealth mechanics, though some note the narrative leans heavily on classic noir tropes. At roughly 8, 10 hours, it’s a brisk but absorbing escape for fans of narrative-driven adventures.
