Pax Corpus is a point-and-click adventure set in a dystopian sci-fi world dominated entirely by women. You play as Kahlee, a freelance mercenary investigating a sinister corporate plot known as Pax Corpus. The game blends investigation, dialogue choices, and action sequences as you navigate a society where men are either enslaved or used for cloning. Your goal is to dismantle a weaponized radiation project that erases free thought, all while tangled in a conflicted dynamic with the game’s primary antagonist. Initially inspired by MTV’s Æon Flux but reshaped after development setbacks, the game retains a distinct cyberpunk edge. Its stark visual style and morally gray storytelling set it apart from contemporaries, though its 90s gameplay mechanics may feel dated. Some players and critics praise its bold premise and cult charm, while others note its uneven pacing. With a small but dedicated following, it’s a curious relic of late-90s adventure gaming.
The game takes place in a cyberpunk sci-fi universe where the population is entirely made up of women; the men have all been killed, and the few survivors are mindless slaves. The reproduction of the population is ensured by the cloning technology of a powerful corporation, Alcyon, led by Kiyiana Soro. The player embodies a mercenary, Kahlee, who works for her own account. Kahlee comes to gradually unveil a dangerous project called Pax Corpus. Pax Corpus was created by Dr. Ellys on behalf of Kiyiana Soro. It is a terrible weapon which emits a radiation capable of taking away all freedom of thought from anyone exposed to it for too long; the people who are exposed to it are integrated into a collective entity subject to Alcyon. Kahlee must foil this plot, while maintaining a love-hate relationship with Kiyiana Soro.
