Peace, Death! 2 is a quirky puzzle game where you manage a chaotic afterlife workforce. You play as a rookie Reaper Sorter tasked with assigning souls to Hell, Heaven, or Purgatory using a mix of logic and absurdity. Each level feels like a timed minigame, balancing efficiency with dark humor. You’ll wrestle with glitchy scythes, misfiring chainsaws, and clients who argue about their preferred eternity. The controls are simple point-and-click, but success requires timing and pattern recognition to keep the Union’s productivity metrics from tanking. The game stands out for its deadpan tone and inventive level design. With 80+ stages and randomized elements, it maintains replayability without growing repetitive. Community feedback highlights the absurdity of office-style Reaper politics and the satisfaction of optimizing soul-processing chains. While not graphically ambitious, its retro pixel art and snappy dialogue stick around long after you finish a run. The Switch and mobile ports make it easy to dip in for a few chaotic rounds whenever the afterlife calls.
In a place beyond time and space, the Reapers formed an independent Union so they wouldn't have to answer to the Horsemen of the Apocalypse anymore. With no acceptable candidate for the position of Union leader, the atmosphere at the Union has descended into blissful anarchy, which is not great for productivity. Fortunately, a new Reaper gets hired as a Sorter one day - you.
