The game’s closest cousin is definitely Metal Slug with its fast-paced combat and cartoonish violence. Levels shift from crumbling streets to alien-infested forests keeping the pacing fresh. While not perfect the game’s accessibility and relentless energy have earned it a small but dedicated following. It’s a short but punchy experience best played in one or two sittings.
