Persona 3 Em is a mobile role-playing game set during the Yakushima trip from the main series. It splits time between social interactions during the day and turn-based dungeon crawls at night. When S.E.E.S. members sleep, they enter a Nightmare Hour alternate realm called Oneiros, a labyrinth inside a giant tree. Players manage a party of characters, balancing dialogue choices with nightly battles against fixed-stat bosses that appear at regular intervals. Progression hinges on navigating the dungeon’s layout and optimizing team synergies. The game’s structure leans into repetitive but methodical gameplay, with Arche-Persona battles every 20 floors. Early bosses shift based on your party but remain static in difficulty. Fuuka and the main character’s personas always appear on the 60th and 80th floors, creating clear progression markers. Storyline

During the nighttime when the members of S.E.E.S. go to sleep they awaken in the "Nightmare Hour" which is similar to the Dark Hour from the main games. During this time they must explore a Tartarus-like dungeon called Oneiros, the entrance of which being a hollow opening inside a large tree. During their exploration of Oneiros, the group periodically encounters Arche-Persona bosses at 20 floor intervals. The first 2 bosses depend on who the player has in his party upon reaching that floor. These first 2 bosses' stats are fixed and do not scale. Regardless, Fuuka and the Protagonist's Arche-Personas are always encountered on the 60th and 80th floors respectively.
