You’ll spend most of your time in a carpenter’s workshop solving puzzles and hunting for hidden items. Each mini-game rewards a gold feather dropped into a chest guarded by one of seven character profiles you pick at the start. Solve enough challenges to trade feathers for coins while scavenging extra trinkets like map fragments scattered around the workshop. The puzzles lean on basic logic and object interaction with a focus on simplicity. The charm comes from its cozy setting and the gentle progression of unlocking new guardians and rewards. With seven distinct profiles and over a dozen activities it holds up better than most early 90s edutainment titles. Kids will enjoy the tactile satisfaction of filling the treasure chest while adults might appreciate the nostalgia factor. The lack of pressure and straightforward design makes it a quiet little diversion more than a demanding adventure.
In the game, you are in Pettson's carpenter's shop. In the carpenter's shed there are games to play and treasures to find. When you win a game, you get a gold feather which is placed in a treasure chest. When you have ten gold feathers, you can exchange them for gold coins. Before you start playing, you choose who will guard the treasure chest. Each guardian is a game profile. There are 7 guards to choose from.
