Phantom of the Asteroids is a side-scrolling platformer where you navigate deadly asteroid tunnels with a jetpack. Your goal is to collect 36 uranium cubes to trigger a nuclear explosion, but you must manage a shrinking oxygen timer while dodging enemies and environmental traps. Gravity-defying movement is central to the gameplay, requiring precise jumps and midair maneuvers. The map is crammed with hazards like shifting force walls, energy-draining Phantoms, and toxic flora. Every misstep resets your progress, adding to the tension. Storyline

The earth is under threat from an asteroid hurtling towards it. Your mission is to destroy the asteroid and save the earth from invasion by a swarm of bloodthirsty Phantoms. To destroy the asteroid you must find and collect the 36 Uranium cubes on it. When these are gathered together in one place you will have 5 minutes (real time) to reach the teleport and escape before the nuclear explosion will blow up the asteroid. There are 3 types of force wall which will bar your way. The cyan, purple and green force walls are all of varying strengths but contact with any of them will result in instant death! Each type can be deactivated for a different period of time by standing on their respective control pads. Other hazards to avoid include the Phantoms who will slowly drain your energy and poisonous plants. To replenish your energy and oxygen stores you must find and stand on the supplies which are scattered all over the asteroid. Your mission is highly dangerous but not impossible! GOOD LUCK!
