Steer your plane left or right across a constantly scrolling sky in this 1980 Apple II shooter. You blast ground targets while managing fuel and avoiding enemy fire. The plane moves vertically on its own so you focus purely on horizontal navigation. Simple controls let you dive bomb or fire missiles as you race through waves of attackers. Nasir Gebelli’s work here foreshadowed his later classics like Raid on Busters and Kung Fu. For its time the game offered tight physics and surprisingly varied level design given the Apple II’s hardware limits. Modern testers note the difficulty spikes but praise the crisp feedback and lack of slowdown. A forgotten early example of the scrolling shooter formula that still plays smoothly today.
