Picotto Knights is a side-scrolling beat 'em up with RPG elements that lets you mash through endless enemy waves. You'll punch and kick through hordes while leveling up, swapping weapons, and learning spells. The action feels fast but repetitive, with simple controls and a focus on clearing stages. A two-player co-op mode adds some shared fun, though the core loop leans heavy on grinding for upgrades. Its chibi art style keeps things light, and the free-to-play model was a rarity on Vita at the time. Launched exclusively in Japan in 2012, the game operated for under a year before shutting down in late 2013. Reviews were mixed but acknowledged the colorful visuals and addictive progression. Short-lived and region-locked, it’s a forgotten entry in the Vita’s library but offers a clear snapshot of early mobile-style brawler design.
