Nintendo’s Pinball is a straightforward arcade pinball sim where you tilt flippers to keep a ball bouncing between two linked playfields. Launch the ball with a digital plunger, guide it through ramps, and dodge drop targets to score points. The game splits action across two vertical screens, with the ball traveling between them via gaps at the top and bottom. Land the ball in a specific hole and you trigger a brief Mario-themed mini-game, adding a quirky twist to the otherwise traditional pinball action. The dual-screen layout was a clever way to mimic real machine depth in 1984. While it lacks modern physics or power-ups, fans of simple, reactive gameplay might appreciate its direct controls and nostalgic charm. Available on vintage Nintendo systems and Wii, it’s more a historical curiosity than a standout entry, but the Mario cameo is a nice surprise for series veterans.
