Planetary Guard Defender is a twin-stick shooter where you control a retrofitted space tank orbiting planets while fending off waves of alien ships. Your job is to protect ground targets or clear enemies using a mix of direct combat and defensive tools. Each mission throws increasingly tough foes at you some charge at your tank others try to dismantle planetary defenses. Blast through waves to collect debris that drops power-ups like health packs weapon upgrades and score-boosting pickups. Between battles you tweak your tank in the hangar spending Bucks and IGC earned from missions to improve weapons shields or buy turrets and mines. Missions include side goals like hitting score thresholds or timing runs completing these earns medals needed to unlock new content.
