Planetary Settlers casts you as Blue 42, an AI robot tasked with repairing interplanetary communication after a massive solar flare. cross Mars Venus and beyond using gravity mechanics that shift with each world’s unique pull. Progress by solving environmental puzzles racing vehicles and answering science-based quizzes. Each challenge unlocks new tools and reveals fragments of the story about humanity’s retreat to Earth. The game blends planetary exploration with trivia in a way that feels engaging rather than forced. While some puzzles lean heavy on solar system facts the Quivakons, mysterious allies, frame challenges as helpful tutorials. Though the 2017 release shows occasional rough edges the mix of action and learning creates a memorable experience for players who enjoy brainy adventures.

Storyline

Save the solar system as the amazing AI robot Blue 42, in the year 2142! A solar flare has knocked out communications. You awake on Mars, presumably knocked out and memory erased by the flare. You are still alive, protected by the elevator you were in at the time of the flare (technically called a Coronal Mass Ejection). This event was far bigger than the Carrington event that happened centuries ago. Humanity colonized the solar system, but has retreated back to Earth due to the flare. Missions: re-establish contact with humanity, save the Earth, and help humanity get back out into the solar system! The Quivakons are a friendly alien race we are working with, and they have provided quizzes, puzzles, races and other challenges throughout the solar system to help you gain further abilities.
