About

Pocket Bomberman reimagines the bomb-hurling hero as a side-scrolling platformer for Game Boy and Game Boy Color. You navigate stages by placing bombs to clear paths destroy obstacles and take down bosses at the end of each zone. The controls are tight for a handheld with precise jumps and timed explosions required to progress. Stages mix puzzle solving and action as you avoid enemies and environmental hazards while advancing toward the final showdown. The game stands out for turning Bomberman’s usual grid-based blasting into a portable platformer. The story about reclaiming stolen sunlight adds a lighthearted motive to the destruction. Boss battles vary enough to keep repeat playthroughs fresh though the single-player focus limits long-term appeal. A straightforward but satisfying challenge for quick gaming sessions.

Storyline

Sunlight has been stolen from Bomberman's world and in order to regain the light our hero must venture through each zone and ultimately defeat the evil that awaits him atop the mountain.
