Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is a follow-up to the GameCube RPG that keeps the combat and mystery vibes but swaps the setting to a more rugged landscape. Battles play out in real time with a focus on dodging and timing, letting you capture and train these corrupted creatures to take them down. The game lets you bring over Pokémon from older handheld titles to use in fights or trade with others, adding a layer of continuity for series veterans.
