Polda 2 remastered updates a 1999 Czech point-and-click adventure with sharper visuals and modern controls. You play Pankrác, a bumbling detective investigating the city of Marsias, where DNA tech lets residents clone celebrities and artists for profit. As the city gears up for its Cloned Miss of Beauty contest, you’ll navigate tricky puzzles, interrogate suspects, and untangle a web of corruption. The game mixes dry humor with a quirky cast, balancing light-hearted gags and a surprisingly dark mystery. The remaster polishes the original’s UI and touch controls without changing its core design, preserving its charm. The 1999 version built a cult following for its clever writing and offbeat worldbuilding, this update keeps those strengths intact. While it lacks new content, fans of classic adventures like The Secret of Monkey Island or Gabriel Knight might enjoy its eccentric style. The game currently sits at 78% positive reviews on Steam, with players praising its replay value and nostalgic appeal. Available on PC and Mac, it’s a solid pick for those craving a retro adventure with a twist.

When Pankrác steps in to the city, the city prepares for crowning its new Cloned Miss of Beauty.
