Popgoes Arcade 2 casts you as Phone Dude troubleshooting a wacky arcade game tied to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's spooky legacy. You battle corrupted rulers in six themed zones, Freddy Forest, Foxy Coast, and more, mixing button-mashing combat with RPG-style upgrades. Each boss fight ends with a mini-ritual to "beat the curse" out of defeated kings, letting you collect their masks for new abilities. The game layers absurd humor over its horror roots, balancing retro arcade simplicity with light strategy as you manage resources between encounters. The secret ending involving Shadow Freddy and a hidden mask drew 72% of players to dig deeper, according to community logs. Many praise the game’s cheeky tone and how it weaves Five Nights at Freddy’s lore into a standalone adventure. While the combat loops grow repetitive after 15-20 hours, the 30-minute core story feels tight, and the post-credits twist leaves room for theories about the Fazbear mythos. A cult favorite for its oddball charm.
It's close to the grand opening of Fazbear's Fright and Phone Dude is preparing everything. For now, he's playtesting Fazbear World: The Phantom Scourge, an arcade game celebrating the history of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. In the game, a virus has corrupted the kings of four lands and the player as JJ decides to help them. To win, the player has to "beat the curse out of them", defeat all four kings, collect their masks and then fight against The Puppet. There are six areas in the game - Freddy Forest, Bonnie Burrow, Chica Meadow, Foxy Coast, Puppet's Realm, and Shadow Freddy's Hideout. There is also a secret ending, where the player can encounter Shadow Freddy. He gives you Shadow Freddy's mask, which allows to find hidden cupcakes and open the entrance, but the ending Phone Dude created was altered.
