Postal 4: No Regerts drops you into the shoes of the Postal Dude, a chaotic everyman with a bathrobe and a knack for mayhem. This first-person shooter leans into its irreverent roots with open world antics where shooting, driving, and general mischief blend into a mess of satire. Navigate desolate Arizona landscapes, interact with sketchy NPCs, and cause trouble in the neon-drenched town of Edensin. Combat mixes run-and-gun action with over-the-top weaponry while side missions offer absurd tasks like tracking down a stolen trailer or finding bidets. The game thrives on its willingness to embrace gross-out humor and fourth-wall-breaking moments. As a direct follow-up to Postal 2, this sequel delivers on its promise to push boundaries with crude jokes and unpredictable scenarios. While divisive, its unapologetic approach has earned a cult following, particularly among those who enjoy its anarchic spirit. With a mix of vehicular chaos and cartoonish violence, it’s a title that doesn’t try to be subtle. The open world feels more fleshed out than past entries, giving players plenty of room to mess around. Since launching in 2022, it’s maintained a steady audience, with forums and Reddit threads buzzing over the latest pranks and glitches.
Several years have passed since the events that devastated the once proud town remembered as Paradise. The only two to walk away from the cataclysm unscathed, the hapless everyman known as the Postal Dude and his loyal companion Champ, drive aimlessly through the scorching deserts of Arizona looking for a new place to call home. After a fortuitous gas station rest stop ends with their car, trailer home, and the rest of their worldly possessions stolen, all the Dude’s seemingly got left to his name is his canine cohort and his bathrobe, and neither of them smells all that great. However, on the horizon, the duo glimpses an unfamiliar and dazzling town that beckons to them. What untold prospects lie within? Fame? Fortune? Maybe a bidet or two? Edensin awaits.
