Postmouse follows a small rodent tasked with mail delivery across a crumbling mansion full of hazards. Players guide the mouse through decaying environments solving logic puzzles and interacting with quirky NPCs. The focus is on careful exploration as you navigate traps and environmental obstacles. Simple controls let you click to move and interact while the story unfolds through brief conversations and environmental storytelling. Made by students from The Animation Workshop and Critters Collective this PC exclusive launched in early 2023. Its charm comes from the contrast between the mouse's fragile size and the grandiose but broken setting. The hand drawn art style and lighthearted tone make it stand out among puzzle adventures. At no cost it offers a brief but cozy experience clocking in under three hours for most playthroughs.
